Pengaruh Kompetensi Sosial dan Bimbingan Konseling Guru PAK Terhadap Penggunaan Game Online Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Tarutung
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine 1) the effect of social competence on the use of online games by class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Tarutung; 2) the effect of PAK teacher counseling guidance on the use of online games by class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Tarutung; and 3) the effect of social competence and PAK teacher counseling guidance together on the use of online games by class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Tarutung. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with an explanatory approach. The population is all class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Tarutung who actively use online games, which is 272 people and a sample of 159 people is determined using the Krejcie table. Data were collected with a closed questionnaire of 50 items. The results of the data analysis show that: 1) the Fcount value > Ftable between social competence and the use of online games by students is 95.546 > 3.00, thus it is known that there is an influence of social competence on the use of online games by class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Tarutung. The influence is 37.8%, 2) the Fcount value > Ftable between the guidance and counseling of PAK teachers on the use of online games by students is 58.712 > 3.00, thus it is known that the influence of guidance and counseling of PAK teachers on the use of online games by class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Tarutung. The influence is 27.2%, and 3) the Fcount value > Ftable between social competence and guidance and counseling of PAK teachers together on the use of online games by students is 59.891 > 3.00, thus it is known that there is an influence of social competence and guidance and counseling of PAK teachers together on the use of online games by class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Tarutung. The influence of social competence and guidance and counseling of PAK teachers together on students' use of online games is 43.4%, thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.
